Crunch PX-1000.2 2 Channel 1000 Watt Amp A/B Car Stereo Amplifier Wiring Kit

I purchased this amp about a month ago and I am just getting around to installing it. I must say, I am thoroughly impressed at what this amp makes my single Pioneer 12” sound like. I had some audio stashed around the house and decided to install it in my 2004 Ford Crown Victoria. It’s a simple setup and I was simply searching for an amp on a budget that gives me a decent amount of ”boom”…..quite shocked at the end result. It seemed that when I bridged it, the amp ran a little hot and it gives you more boom, but it sounded distorted when you turned up the volume, so I did not bridge it, played around with the settings on the amp and my dvd/cd deck and it gives me a nice clean all around smooth bass sound to where the amp does not run hot at all and I can only turn my deck up halfway. That’s the sound that I was looking for without all that rattling the trunk crap. It did help that I replaced all my factory speakers with a decent pair of 4-way Pioneer speakers that doesn’t even need an amp pushing them. Very nice crisp highs to match my smooth lows. Will purchase again for my other vehicle. I will say this, my Pioneer 12” is capable of pushing more than what this amp puts out, but that’s not what I am looking for. As I said, this meets my needs, especially being on a budget. Will update later as to durability and longevity as time passes.Also, I did use the Boss amp wiring kit that was recommended with this purchase and it had everything that I needed to complete this setup!
